  • Rochelle Expansion: Bear Cartage is now expanding out to the Rochelle area to accommodate our customers that use the Union Pacific's Global III facility. Call today to book our drivers for all of your Global III freight needs. For rates please contact Cathy Williams at (708) 924-9093.
  • Christmas 2006 presented Wes Kowal (Truck # 1019) and Stan Krzak (Truck # 1055) special gifts for being Bear's longest contracted Owner Operators and Cathy Williams for being the longest Bear employee. Bear is very proud of these outstanding individuals for starting on with Bear Cartage when the late Tom Urso opened the doors in 1994. Bear looks forward to working with these team members to help the company grow in the upcoming years.

  • Bear Cartage has just become the official trucking company for the Rockford Thunder of the National Fastpitch Softball League. The Thunder will join the Chicago Bandits as calling Bear Cartage their official trucking company for 2007. Bear Cartage has worked with the Bandits since their inaugural season in 2005. We look forward to working with both organizations in 2007.
